A Kids Book About Radical Dreaming - now available for purchase !

(published by A Kids Co.)

Alvin Schexnider wanted to make the book he wished he had as a kid for his own kids - a book to help them remember to feed and grow their capacity to dream.

As a Black boy in a mostly white elementary school in Richmond, VA, he survived extreme, racially motivated bullying by dreaming radically about spaces where he could be included. And while he lost that ability as he grew older, he is now slowly reclaiming it.

This book is meant to teach kids how to hold strong to their ability to dream of new possibilities for themselves, no matter the criticism from peers or exclusion due to their identity and background.

Learn the power of radical dreaming and practice it today! Radical dreaming is having the hope and courage to dream BIG, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what others might say.

Alvin describes a kind of dreaming that breaks all barriers and knows no bounds, and encourages readers to adopt the habit of radical dreaming—no matter how old they are—as a means to create the positive, inclusive, life-changing realities we wish to see!
